Dear Pine Lake Property Owners,

As we move toward the end of the summer season, we want to remind everyone of the importance of supporting our ongoing efforts to control Eurasian Milfoil and protect the long‑term health of Pine Lake. Member donations are the backbone of this work, especially in years when grant funding is limited. 

We want to extend a heartfelt thank‑you to all members who have already contributed to the Milfoil Fund this year. To those who were able to donate $300 or more as requested by the board we are especially grateful! Your generosity directly supports the DASH treatments and ongoing lake‑health initiatives that keep Pine Lake thriving.

Challenge for Rental Cabin Owners

This year, we are grateful for an exceptionally generous offer from fellow member Jarred Brown. Jarred has pledged to donate to the Eurasian Milfoil Fund again and has issued a friendly challenge to all rental cabin owners on the lake: 

He will match the highest rental cabin donation, dollar for dollar, up to $3,000. As Jarred shared, "I believe that if you are going to make money from the lake, you should give more back." If no one wishes to participate in the challenge, he will still contribute $1,000 regardless. 

Jarred’s commitment is a wonderful example of how our community can come together to protect the lake we all enjoy. If you are able, we encourage you to make your donation soon so we can continue funding essential work throughout the season.

Please consider making a contribution to the Invasive Species Maintenance Fund. Because we were unable to secure grant funding this year, the Board has approved an ask of $300 per household to support our lake wellness work.

  1. MAIL your check (made out to PLPOA) to PLPOA, PO Box 45, King, WI 54946.

  2. DROP your check (made out to PLPOA) into the white PLPOA mailbox at N7113 East Pine Lake Lane (the Hedstrom’s place).

  3. VENMO if you have a VENMO account, then scan the qr code with your mobile device camera app. Once your camera recognizes the QR code a notification will pop up that features a link. Tap this link and your device will direct you to the proper website. Or you can go to your VENMO app and search for @pinelakepoa and donate.
