Great news! The PLPOA will be offering property owners the opportunity to test their well water for impurities this summer. Test kits will be available at our Annual Meeting on July 4th for anyone interested.
Two different testing options are available. Completed samples can be dropped off at the Nagle cottage, 7091 East Pine Lake Ln, on Sunday July 5th between 10AM-12PM. Your results will be mailed directly to you by the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point Water Quality Testing Lab.
Download your Well Water Testing Flyer to get all the info.
Articles explaining the impact of these elements can be found on the PLPOA website under “Bacteriological Contamination of Drinking Water Wells” and “Nitrate in Drinking Water.”
More details will be available at the meeting. See you there!

A Beautiful Night…
Too much outdoor LIGHTING disrupts our nighttime ecosystem and habitats for pollinators, fireflies, frogs, turtles, navigating birds and other nocturnal creatures.
Please consider turning off your lights at night or, if lighting for safety reasons, tilt lights to face downward and use yellow lights vs. white.
