NOMO – JULY 4, 2026 - 5 PM
Begin planning now to join your Pine Lake neighbors in the fun activities set for July 4th. As in years past, we will be competing in non-motorized vessel to earn the most points in the game.
It is easy to play! Grab your kayak, paddle boat, canoe–anything without a motor–and hit the water between 5:00 and 6:30 pm. Armed with your “stringer” make your way to the docks with the colored flags flying – going in the order of the colors on your stringer – to collect “fish” worth varying points.
It is not a race. Dock socializing is encouraged! You may find the fish with the prize of a snack, a trophy, or just a very friendly dock volunteer!
After points are tallied, prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place high point winners. There will also be a special prize for the participant chosen by the dock volunteers as having the “Best Spirit.”
Stringers will be available at the Annual Meeting. Dock volunteers may request their stringers in advance—I’m happy to drop off supplies at your cottage. If you’d like to volunteer on the large lobe of the lake, please call or text Ginnie at 920‑205‑1259.
If you live on the other side of the point and want a great place to cheer on family and friends, feel free to bring your chairs to my beach. My family will be on our dock with the white flag, where each player will receive their final points and drop off their stringers.
Thanks for helping keep this a fun Pine Lake tradition!
